Short biography:
Marco Antonelli received the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the Università degli Studi di Padova, Padova, Italy, in 2008, the master’s degree in intelligent systems (2011) and the PhD in Advanced Systems (2015) from the University Jaume I, Castellon de la Plana, Spain. His research mainly focuses on biologically inspired humanoid robotics. He is currently employed as Research Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and he collaborating with the Active Perception Lab (Boston University) to develop a neural model of egocentric representation of the 3-D space based on both monocular and binocular visual cues.
