BAXTER ROBOT

The Baxter robot is an industrial robot with two arms in which different manipulators can be installed.

We have the Research version of the robot.

It has compliant arms and force detection let it adapt to variable environments, ‘feeling’ anomalies and guiding parts into place.

Two electric parallel grippers allow Baxter to pick up rigid and semi-rigid objects of many shapes and sizes.  Kits come with interchangeable fingers and fingertips to maximize flexibility, and will support customized finger options for specialized parts.

It's manually trainable by in-house staff and you don't need to programa it.

Baxter Research Robot allows direct programming access to the system via a standard, open-source ROS API interface.
