Our group has decided to participate in the Amazon Picking Challenge with our new Baxter robot. It will take place in Seattle, in the general mark of ICRA 2015, one of the most important conferences in Robotics, in which group members have accepted papers.

Former RobinLab member Beata Grzyb selected among the best seven -out of 38 candidates- for the 2014 Georges Giralt European PhD Award. The selected seven thesis passed to the second round of evaluations for the best thesis award. Beata has now a postdoctoral position at Plymouth University with a Marie Curie grant funded by the European Commission.
